Better Days Ahead

The Browns

(Verse 1) I'm not good at being gracious God's still working on my patience When the path's unclear I start to feel the fear Of what's waiting up ahead I've seen a lot of heartache More than I thought I could take But tomorrows always come Like mercy with the sun My God's not finished yet Hallelujah Better days are coming Hallelujah Just like Jesus said Hold on Look toward the horizon Hallelujah Better days ahead I don't want to miss the victory Lost and doubting every mystery Oh, His purpose and His plan They're bigger than I am So I'll choose to trust His ways I've learned from what's behind me (what's behind me) All that's past will not define me 'Cause there is so much more That my God has in store So I'll lift my hands and say Hallelujah Better days are coming Hallelujah Just like Jesus said Hold on Look toward the horizon Hallelujah Better days ahead Soon we'll see the clouds transforming Christ will come without a warning The Bridegroom and His Bride Will meet up in the sky Be ready to fly away (to that better day) Hallelujah Better days are coming Hallelujah Just like Jesus said Hold on Look toward the horizon Hallelujah Better days ahead Hallelujah Better days are coming Hallelujah Just like Jesus said Hold on Look toward the horizon Hallelujah Better days ahead
