The Greatest Gift
11th Hour
(Verse 1) Sittin' here waiting for the dawn of the mornin' to come All the kids snug in their beds waitin on Santa Clause As I stare at the gifts and the lights flashing on the tree I know the greatest gift ever given was given to me (Chorus) And Lord the greatest gift ever given was given to me How you sent your son Jesus and He died for me How he brought salvation's plan, He set me free And Lord the greatest gift ever given was given to me (Verse 2) Now the hustle and bustle that always comes at christmas time The're all just runnin around too and fro never makin up their minds But if I had one request for a gift, this is what it would be That they'd accept Jesus Christ and get the same gift that was given to me Chorus And Lord the greatest gift ever given was given to me How you sent your son Jesus and He died for me How he brought salvation's plan, He set me free And Lord the greatest gift ever given was given to me How he brought salvation's plan, He set me free And Lord the greatest gift ever given was given to me
