The Stone Is Rolled Away

Taranda Greene

Lyrics

VRS 1: For every orphaned heart that feels alone (the stone is rolled away) For every soldier fighting far from home (the stone is rolled away) For every prodigal gone wild And every hurting fathers heart For the fearless and the faithless For the wounded and the scared There's no reason to stay in the grave The Stone Is Rolled Away CHORUS He took to the cross Submitted to death He loved each of us With His last fleeting breath Then He shattered the locks That were holding the chains Took back the keys of every prison you face We can live in this freedom today The Stone Is Rolled Away VRS 2 For every mom who's made mistakes (the stone is rolled away) For every businessman about to break (the stone is rolled away) For every addict on the street and every addict in the pew There is mercy upon mercy that was purchased just for you There's no reason to stay in the grave The stone is rolled away CHORUS He took to the cross Submitted to death He loved each of us With His last fleeting breath Then He shattered the locks That were holding the chains Took back the keys of every prison you face We can live in this freedom today The Stone Is Rolled Away BRIDGE So take off the mask and the labels of shame You belong! Take off the mask and the labels of shame You Belong! Take off the mask and the labels of shame You Belong! He gave you His Name! CHORUS He took to the cross Submitted to death He loved each of us With His last fleeting breath Then He shattered the locks That were holding the chains Took back the keys of every prison you face We can live in this freedom today Jesus died for your freedom He conquered the grave We can live in this freedom today The stone is rolled away The stone is rolled away
