I've seen the shadows fall in the valley I've felt the darkness shake But there s a song of hope that I'm singing I will not be afraid Though evil rises up to surround me With foes on every side I call upon the strong name of Jesus He is my battle cry I will not back down I will stand my ground When I face the arrows of the enemy I will stake my faith on that empty grave And the one who rose and reigns in victory I will overcome cause I believe That the champions' alive in me My advisory roars like a lion But he's already lost Defeated by the King of the ages The war was finished at the cross I will not back down I will stand my ground When I face the arrows of the enemy I will stake my faith on that empty grave And the one who rose and reigns in victory I will overcome cause I believe That the champions' alive in me Death where is your sting Grave where's your victory You've been defeated by the power of Jesus Our champion Sin where are your stains Hell where are your chains You've been defeated by the power of Jesus Our champion Our champion I will not back down I will stand my ground When I face the arrows of the enemy I will stake my faith on that empty grave And the one who rose and reigns in victory I will overcome cause I believe That the champions' alive in me
