The Day
Heart 2 Heart
He held a Bottle in his hand and stared at the wall Had nothing to show for his life but regret and alcohol His wife and kids had left him, he had no where else to go Until he heard about the one who could forgive his helpless soul It was the day he found Jesus Tears of joy rolled down his face And on the day he found Jesus His love washed away the shame She never could forgive herself for what she'd done After she ended the life of her unborn son The doctors had told her it was all okay But the fear and guilt about her choice would never go away Until the day she found Jesus Tears of joy rolled down her face And on the day she found Jesus His love washed away the shame When you're at the end of your rope and don't know what to do Jesus is right there holding out his arms to you And on the day you find Jesus Tears of joy will roll down your face And on the day you find Jesus Tears of joy will roll down your face On the day you find Jesus His love will wash away the shame His love will wash every stain
