When It's Gone For Good

Gold City

You're a child of God, yes it's true The old is passed away and you've been made new But you can't get past your past You keep bringing it up again Let me tell you friend When Jesus forgives your sin It's as good as gone when it's gone for good Oh, the cleansing blood washes over us Just like He said it would And when it's cast into the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness It's as good as gone when it's gone for good As far as the East is from the West Now that's how far He threw them when you confessed There's no need to carry shame Cause that's what grace is for With the good Lord, they're remembered no more It's as good as gone when it's gone for good Oh, the cleansing blood washes over us Just like He said it would And when it's cast into the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness It's as good as gone when it's gone for good So why bring up what the Lord's forgiven You can live, live in freedom From the guilt of your sin It's as if it's never been It's as good as gone when it's gone for good Oh, the cleansing blood washes over us Just like He said it would And when it's cast into the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness It's as good as gone when it's gone for good It's as good as gone when it's gone for good Oh, the cleansing blood washes over us Just like He said it would And when it's cast into the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness It's as good as gone when it's gone for good It's as good as gone when it's gone for good
