The Hope of The Gospel

Buddy Greene

When you're walkin' in the Spirit and living in His light Shinin' like a beacon in the darkest night Knowin' what's wrong and doin' what's right Then you're livin' your life in Jesus Christ Chorus: The hope of the gospel - Christ in me So full of His love that I will be A shinin' light for all to see That I'm in Christ and He's in me It all started when I took a long look within Saw that I was shackled to a life of sin But the Savior came and He changed my life Praise God for the life in Jesus Christ Repeat Chorus Now there's gonna come a day when the Lord returns A judgement day when the whole world learns That apart from Christ there can be no life Thank God for the life in Jesus Christ Repeat Chorus
