Lyrics

The Lord told Joshua I'm delivering Jericho into your hand Take the ark of the covenant, priests and trumpets and all of your fighting men March around the city once a day, six days and the seventh day seven times round See the walls all tumble to the ground With a shout The Lord told Gideon I'm delivering Midian into your hand They wont's see you coming with your jars and your trumpets and all of your fighting men Stand around the camp lifting up your torches and when 300 cry out See their armies scatter all about With a shout Oh Shout with a voice of triumph to the God who saves (Why don't we) Oh Shout o daughter of Zion to the ancient of days Cause something happens when the people of God make a mighty mighty sound So lift your voice and shout The day is coming when the King eternal will split the Eastern sky With the voice of the angels and the sound of the trumpet all the dead in Christ shall rise Then we who are living will be caught up together to meet him in the clouds When the Lord himself is coming down With a shout (with a shout) Oh Shout with a voice of triumph to the God who saves (Why don't we) Oh Shout o daughter of Zion to the ancient of days Cause something happens when the people of God make a mighty mighty sound So lift your voice and shout Oh Shout with a voice of triumph to the God who saves Oh Shout o daughter of Zion to the ancient of days Cause something happens when the people of God make a mighty mighty sound So lift your voice and shout
