Talking About Love

Jeff & Sheri Easter

Lyrics

I'm talking about love He Sent down from above I feel a sweet soul quenching Every time I mention that name It's the name of Jesus He satisfies and He pleases There's not a better name to call If you're gonna talk at all about love A little bitty Baby layin' in a manger Cradled by his momma not aware of the eminent danger Born for a higher purpose to provide a service He's gonna teach the world to sing and show them all a thing about love Well I'm talking about love He Sent down from above I feel a sweet soul quenching Every time I mention that name It's the name of Jesus He satisfies and He pleases There's not a better name to call If you're gonna talk at all about love A man came preaching, healing and teaching A new way of living and loving many souls he was reaching It was his finest hour but the men in power They just didn't wanna hear so they turned a deaf ear on love At a place called Calvary, the Son of God met destiny Hanging on a cross between two thieves he laid down his life for me Yes he had to pay the price, the ultimate sacrifice When He shed His life's blood just to teach a whole world about love Well I'm talking about love He Sent down from above I feel a sweet soul quenching Every time I mention that name It's the name of Jesus He satisfies and He pleases There's not a better name to call If you're gonna talk at all about love Well I'm talking about love He Sent down from above I feel a sweet soul quenching Every time I mention that name It's the name of Jesus He satisfies and He pleases There's not a better name to call If you're gonna talk at all about love
