The Blood of Jesus

Lyrics

I was a sinner by my own admission I felt the weight of all my wrong decisions There was no way I could escape my sentence But the cross declared a new conviction Rewriting all my destiny Restoring all my dignity I'm rising in the victory of the Blood of Jesus My past lost in the mercy seat I'm washed for all eternity Now living in the legacy of the Blood of Jesus No matter where my soul has ever wandered I know the mercy of the judge is stronger My case is closed and it won't be reopened Oh, for the power of the blood has spoken Rewriting all my destiny Restoring all my dignity I'm rising in the victory of the Blood of Jesus My past lost in the mercy seat I'm washed for all eternity Now living in the legacy of the Blood of Jesus I plead the blood I plead the blood of Jesus (x4) Rewriting all my destiny Restoring all my dignity I'm rising in the victory of the Blood of Jesus My past lost in the mercy seat I'm washed for all eternity Now living in the legacy of the Blood of Jesus Oh, I plead the blood of Jesus
