Light Of The World
Martins
Who would have thought That one bright star Over tiny Bethlehem Would bring the light That shines around the world And the light from that first holy night Still warms the heart today As we celebrate We join our hearts and say Oh, light, oh, light of the world We worship you Oh, light, oh, light of the world We honor you As we journey through This cold dark world We will carry you To light up the world With the light of the world Like a candle in the darkness The light dispels the fear Of what is waiting in the dark unknown As you shine your light around us By faith our hearts can see The road we walk Will one day lead us home Oh, light, oh, light of the world We worship you Oh, light, oh, light of the world We honor you As we journey through This cold dark world We will carry you To light up the world With the light of the world Shine your light in the places That no one else can see Holy light of the ages Shine your light through me Oh, light, oh, light of the world We worship you Oh, light, oh, light of the world We honor you As we journey through This cold dark world We will carry you To light up the world With the light of the world As we journey through This cold dark world We will carry you To light up the world With the light of the world
