Glory Up Ahead

The Hoppers

Trials and troubles have marked this road we're on We've been listening for a trumpet sound But the journey is almost over here Any moment our feet will leave the ground And we will be found where there's Glory up ahead, Waiting round the bend And the half of it has ne'er been told Glory coming soon, Glory coming to Calling me and you to streets of gold Joy beyond compare, in that land so fair Hallelujah there is glory up ahead Every setting sun it could be our last Let us make the most of each fleeting day Let us lift the name of our Lord and King Joining in the song His redeemed will raise In His endless praise Glory up ahead, Waiting round the bend And the half of it has ne'er been told Glory coming soon, Glory coming to Calling me and you to streets of gold Joy beyond compare, in that land so fair Hallelujah there is glory up ahead Glory in that place, Of His saving grace We'll behold the face wee longed to see Glory evermore all ever waited for Glory with the Lord for you and me Joy beyond compare, in that land so fair Hallelujah there is glory up ahead Glory up ahead, Waiting round the bend And the half of it has ne'er been told Glory coming soon, Glory coming to Calling me and you to streets of gold Joy beyond compare, in that land so fair Hallelujah there is glory up ahead
