(Intro) Ayyyyy Ayyyyy Uhhh Uhhhhh (Verse 1: Datin) It's kina stupid to say that it's just music You blind if you see this crime and think there's no direct connect to it It's clear to me that there lyrics are steering these kids down the path of destruction, they imitate what they hear and see The trauma between em', the lie must've squeeze em' The molly, the lean, the following this doctrine of demons Rejecting God, and they even have been bobbing and weaving Logic and reason, when you give them truth they dodge it and defense cause When on the daily you take the same garbage They brain wash us that's why we ain't conscious and remain Godless No we don't care if all this crap we digest has lasting effects We want to hear the soundtrack to our death but see There is a final destination for the soul They send you two roads, both eternal Listen cause this is so essential One leads to hell the other leads you to Jesus The Son will tell you all how you can find the road to the beat of the drum (Chorus: J. Carter) Do not grow weary in doing good The harvest is for those who don't give up We won't, no way, we can't, no way It's for the mantle, consequential Essential (Verse 2: Cephas) Uhhh Yeah we wander through your jungles Deny your shots From those who mumble like Mutombo Spitting fire like your aunties (?) Saving lives, one ryhme at a time, as we climbing through the gun smoke See if we don't go tell me who will These labels cover up the truth cause it's too real Violence and rape, drugs to sedate Poppin' ink on your face, it's what it takes to ink a true deal Nah homie, dead dat All of your labels take a step back And watch as we launch like a jet back Over set backs, ghostin' thought of fear like they never got to text back Cause the great commission is the mission It's essential we believe we serve a God who has no limits Cause even though the vision's big The good work he started in us all the way from the beginning he will finish (Chorus: J. Carter) Do not grow weary in doing good The harvest is for those who don't give up We won't, no way, we can't, no way It's for the mantle, consequential Essential (Verse 3: Stefan Otto) He said, "Ooo them joints is bad like they all (?)" See how u pen it, authentic Why you all (?), to the sovereign One Build a legacy like David with Solomon You give them youth the confidence to live for God and honor Him Skillfully and willfully you father them A generation lost with no models but these charlatans that's hollering Obscenities, with no intent to lead, just dope and Hennessy Felonies, objectifying women is what they selling me But you can paint em' hope as you wield these words of life More than skills for five mics You rhyme to shine Christ The truth amongst the lie, remove confusion and the gods The illusion which they try to be, the views of our gods So stay encouraged, keep persevering When the path gets lonely, and the results of your work ain't a Grammy or a trophy When your warring for the souls of men, that's vanity, stay lowly Your role is so essential, said a fan to the OG (Chorus: J. Carter) Do not grow weary in doing good The harvest is for those who don't give up We won't, no way, we can't, no way It's for the mantle, consequential Essential Essential Yeah, yeah, yeahhhhhhh (Outro: Micheal Peace) Mahn, there is so many amazing, incredible Christian rappers that some people have not ever heard in the mainstream or commercially that are out there going hard for Jesus bringing the Gospel at no..... at no cost, but are paying the price if you will For standing up for Jesus and getting in front of crowds, large and small, telling everybody that Jesus is Lord There is none greater than the Lord Jesus Christ And that is..... that is something that no one should ever take light of or light about.... be light about There are many of them out there, hundreds, probably even thousands that are out there, representing Lord Jesus Christ It is totally impossible for anyone to even believe that legitimately the holy Hip-Hop is dead Jesus is alive and well and those of us who are representing Him, we are alive and well thus Christian Hip-Hop is alive and well....
