Sins of Billions
Rob Frazier
In the wasteland of the ages On a bluff outside of town Stood a man well known by sages He was my friend and He laid His life down In a time when times were turning Upon that death-shaped hill There the Savior's heart was burning In spite of the pain He chose to do His Father's will He took the sins of billions Into His soul and His body To bear and carry He took the sins of billions He conquered millions And millions of hearts Around the world It doesn't matter what age you live in (It doesn't matter) In this rapidly changing world (It doesn't matter) It doesn't what history's given you He took your place, filled it with grace And gave it back new And He took the sins of billions Into His soul and His body To bear and carry He took the sins of billions He conquered millions And millions of hearts Around the world Tell me what did I ever do for Him That He should die for me (That He should die) And what could I ever give to Him For sins forgiven and life full and free He took the sins of billions Into His soul and His body To bear and carry (He carried) He took the sins of billions He conquered millions And millions of hearts Around the world He took the sins of billions Into His soul and His body To bear and carry (He carried) He took the sins of billions He conquered millions And millions of hearts Around the world Around the world Around the world
