The Spirit of David
Truth
We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise Longing to stand in God's presence Rejoicing in the Lord always Lifting our hands in the temple The banner of worship we raise We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise Just like the little boy David Boldly we show forth His praise Taking the sword of the Spirit And slaying the giants that stand in our way We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise Longing to stand in God's presence Rejoicing in the Lord always Lifting our hands in the temple The banner of worship we raise We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise Take up your harp from the willow Let your praise begin today It's time for the silence to be broken Arise and put on your garments of praise We are a people after God's own heart United together from near and afar Marching together, we're being restored Joining our voices in one accord We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise Longing to stand in God's presence Oh, rejoicing in the Lord always Lifting our hands in the temple The banner of worship we raise We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise Lifting our hands in the temple The banner of worship we raise We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise We have the spirit of David We have the spirit of praise
